Movies can have a significant impact on gender and ethnic stereotypes, change attitudes towards certain groups of people and cause newly formed opinions on various issues. Look at any show or movie that features at least one Muslim character and you’ll find that, nine times out of ten, they’re either a terrorist, a desert-bound camel owner, a clueless foreigner, or an oppressed wife.
